Family Camp
Friday Evening - after putting up our tents we went for a short walk down Snape Rake Lane and then back through Boggy Wood to Waddecar.
Saturday - A Scavenge Hunt (rigorously marked by Dave), swimming in the river followed by a Barbecue Tea
Sunday - The boat race in the morning and wet tents thanks to a lunchtime shower.

Thanks to all the parents who attended, we're already thinking about something a little different for next year!

St. George's Day Parade
April 26th
This year we will be carrying the flag at the head of the parade.
Groups should assemble on the covered market at 10.15am to move off at 10.30am. It is essential that every flag bearer wears Full Association uniform. No trainers please. As this is the one occasion of the year when all Scouts in the District parade together in the public eye please try to ensure that your turnout is of the highest standard.
